Wormsloe, Bonaventure And Fort Pulaski
Three of the most photographed places around Savannah, and each one has its own rulebook.

Wormsloe
The first thing to know is that the Wormsloe weddings page currently says, "Wormsloe is currently not doing weddings." It still lists its packages, so contact the site at (912) 353-3023 before you plan around it. Here is what those listings say.
| Package | Guests | Monday To Thursday | Friday To Sunday |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jones | Up to 100 | $1,500 | $2,000 |
| Oglethorpe | Up to 60 | $900 | $1,200 |
| Wymberley | Up to 30 | $450 | $600 |
| DeRenne | Up to 10 | $225 | $300 |
The page calls it a ceremony only venue with no alcohol, no open flames, no tents, no interior space and a required rain plan. Everyone counts toward the guest count, including vendors. Photographers and videographers each need a $25 permit.
Bonaventure Cemetery
The City of Savannah allows weddings in public areas of the cemetery if you register with the Cemeteries Event Coordinator at 912-651-6843. Using a private lot needs written permission from the lot owner. Professional photography needs a permit requested at least one week ahead, with a site visit first. Fees are set by the City and aren't listed on those pages, so ask.
Fort Pulaski National Monument
The National Park Service requires a Special Park Use Permit for certain events, and it mentions a wedding as an example of an event authorized by written permit. Apply at least 30 days ahead and no more than 365. Fees and insurance may apply, and the amounts aren't listed. Photography tied to a permitted event doesn't need its own permit.
My Honest Take
Even if you marry elsewhere, a portrait session at one of these places can give you the photos you were dreaming of. Here is what Wormsloe looks like in photographs.
