Jekyll Island Weddings
Around two hours down the coast from Savannah. Here is what the island itself says about getting married there.

On The Beach
The Jekyll Island Authority says permits are not required to get married on the island's beaches. The rest is worth reading closely.
- The beach is public, first come, first served, and people may walk around your ceremony.
- No glass and no kegs. Pets stay on a leash.
- Chairs and arbors are allowed, and you must remove them.
- Signs need a temporary sign permit.
- Fireworks and sparklers need a fire permit from the fire marshal at 912-635-2930. No open flames or tiki torches.
Driftwood Beach
Most of Driftwood Beach is sea turtle nesting beach. The Authority does not allow lighting there unless it is turtle friendly amber or red LED, so plan an evening ceremony around that.

Your License
Jekyll Island is in Glynn County, and this is still Georgia. If neither of you lives in Georgia, you apply in the county where the ceremony will happen, so that means the Glynn County Probate Court. I could not confirm its current fee on an official page, so call them. Georgia residents can apply in any county, including Chatham.
